Have you considered how many choices you make in a day? There are so many times we could go right or left, take the red one not the blue one or perhaps sit back and make no decision.

The Nestle company recalled all their toll house cookie packages today. Those fresh baked cookies are delicious. Just yesterday I considered taking the package out of the cabinet and making a batch. What if I had? E Coli contamination is not something you want to tangle with. But, if I had made the cookies yesterday I would not be writing this today.

Yesterday you turned right when you could have turned left. Did that choice save you from some terrible fate? At some intersection somewhere yesterday a car raced to beat the light and failed. If you turned left you may have been at that intersection at the wrong time but you turned right and will never know.

There is one truth we need to think on today: the path God sets before us filled with joy forever more. As long as we take God’s path there is nothing to fear and the only way to choose that path is by faith that God is leading.
